The President Donald Trump just made a really serious announcement in the wake of the New York City attack.

After eight people were killed and a dozen more was injured President Donald Trump wrote:

“I have just ordered Homeland Security to step up our already Extreme Vetting Program. Being politically correct is fine, but not for this!”

The Secretary of Homeland Security Elaine Duke came out with a statement moments after the attack:

“We have recently seen attacks like this one throughout the world. DHS and its law enforcement partners remain vigilant and committed to safeguarding the American people.”

This statement comes after a man renter a flatbed pickup truck and drove it down a busy bicycle path near the World Trade Center. At last, the truck was crashed into a school bus. The case is still under investigations, but as the witnesses stated the suspect that left dead bodies behind his truck came out of the crashed vehicle holding two fake guns and yelling “Allahu Akbar” which in Arabic means “God is great”. The suspect was later identified as Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov from central Asia – Uzbekistan.

The four-month travel ban on refugees on Oct. 24, but Trump’s administration has an updated version of it who will soon be revealed. President Donald Trump with his executive order temporary blocked refugees from all countries, of course with some exceptions. According to a State Department official, the end-date of the order was last week, and Trump did not order for an extension.

The new “extreme vetting” policy for immigrants is compiled from a more stringent and thorough examination of the backgrounds for the refugees that want to enter the U.S.
